The Context:
Project 1000 is a non-profit organization that works for the upliftment of rural communities, especially women. These women reside in the hinterlands of Maharashtra and are taught the basic vocational skills in the art of hand made products. The skills further enable the women to achieve independence and strive towards gainful employment.
What does “Thought Reservoir” encompass?
I have delved into history and written about the evolution of the role of women over time in society. There are stories of brave women of the past and the impact they have made to the present. Moreover, I have written a collection of real life stories of the women who are a part of the Project 1000 community. These women have dedicatedly followed their dreams and are strong examples for many people out there longing for inspiration. Lastly, the book highlights the journey of Project 1000 and my relationship with the organization over the past year.

The book has helped Project 1000 reach individuals globally. Furthermore, the stories of all the women in the organization are admired by readers far and wide. The readers have successfully spread the world and built a greater and more empathetic audience for the Project 1000 family.
